About Bermuda
Bermuda is a collection of stunning islands in the Atlantic Ocean; the east coast of America is only a short flight away making it easily accessible for a vacation. It is well known for it’s mysterious namesake the Bermuda Triangle, but don’t worry you
definitely won’t get swallowed up on a trip here.
A British Overseas Territory, Bermuda has some interesting English influences, which are noticeable around the island in the form of Red Pillar post boxes and pubs full of pint sized glasses. It is worth noting that Bermudans drive on the left hand side
of the road too, the same as the British. Other influences include those from the Caribbean and America.
Relax on one of Bermuda’s famous pink sand beaches or snorkel in the turquoise waters. For those who like to explore, a trip to the Royal Naval Dockyard, including a visit to the National Museum of Bermuda or UNESCO World Heritage Site St George and its
fortifications, will tick all the right boxes.
Although cars are not available for tourists to hire, it is easy to get around the island by scooter, bus, or bicycle. Watch out for the pretty pastel colored houses that adorn the tiny roads; you won’t get anywhere in a hurry here and nor would you want
to.
From self-catering apartments to luxurious 5 star hotels, Bermuda has a variety of accommodation to suit every type of travelers needs.
